During National Poetry Writing Month one is encouraged to write and share poetry and to seek out and read poetic works. Poetry can be found in a concept or image—how it evokes one to think, feel, or imagine. Therefore, I’m calling this my poetic post of the day!
As the saying goes, “You see what you look for”.
There’s another adage: “Stop and smell the roses.”
You may recognize the “flowers” pictured here: Bougainvillea—unscented but beautiful leaves surrounding its tiny central flowers.

so beautifully displayed here (along with the winning “smile”).
